Verizon Wireless Network offers both residents and traveler users in Alabama with much easier and faster ways of carrying out wireless calling, text messaging and surfing the web. This is all by virtue of the huge investment of $49 Million that Verizon Alabama has made during the first half of the year, 2013. Throughout a span of six months from January to June, the operator strived hard to expand voice networks and wireless broadband all across the state. Consequently, the 4G LTE network is nearly complete in Alabama, pointing out to the majority of the company’s 3G services that covered hundreds of square miles in the state.
Since 2010, a significant portion of the company’s total investment of $361 million on its network in the state of Alabama was spent for the purpose of supporting its venture of rolling out 4G LTE. The company, which was formed in 2000, records an investment of about $949 million for ongoing network in the peach state.
The first half of 2013 has already witnessed the company make 4G LTE network available for cities like Clanton, Demopolis, Hamilton, Cullman and more. Verizon Wireless users can now engage in activities like streaming videos, sharing music and photos or downloading files 10 times faster than before.
The latest statistics reveal that the 4G LTE network is available in 500 markets and accessible to 301 million comprising 95 percent of the U.S. population.
